When you want to take time off, you first need to talk to your manager at the company where you are working. Once your time off has been approved, inform your cosultant manager here at Framtiden by konsult.support@framtiden.com. We will enter this into your timecard. Remember to plan your vacation well in advance.
To receive paid vacation, i.e., vacation pay, you must first earn it. According to the law of vacation, the so-called vacation year begins on April 1 and extends until March 31 the following year. Your earned vacation days are based on your employment period the year before you take your vacation. That year is therefore called the earning year. If you have not fully earned paid vacation, you can take unpaid vacation days. Note that if you take unpaid vacation days, you will have a deduction from your salary for those days.
Regarding vacation days, you are legally entitled to 25 vacation days per vacation year. You earn about 2 vacation days per month.
If you have vacation days left when your employment with us at Framtiden ends, this will be paid out in your final salary.
