Absence

Please never delete a shift from your schedule. As a consultant, you can register your own absence. You do this by pressing “Add Absence” in the Menu. Choose to register absence for Single Days or for a Period.

Single Days:
 A calendar view will appear where you select the day you were absent and then whether you were absent for the entire shift or part of a shift. You adjust the time you were absent by changing the clock times under “Specify Time.” Once you have selected the time for your absence, choose “Done.” See the image below:





  1. The day you selected is now marked in orange, press “Next.”
  1. Choose the reason for the absence for the shift
  2. Save


Period: Select the following: date period, time, which weekdays the absence applies to, and the reason for absence (press the “Reason for Absence” box). See the image below



  1. If you are registering parental leave, please fill in under “Specify Note” for which child you are on parental leave (the child you are seeking compensation for from the Social Insurance Agency).
  2. Press “Save.”

When registering an absence that spans over one or more weekends, the absence will also be placed on the Saturdays and Sundays included in this absence period. However, it is important to understand that no absence will be deducted for these days, only for your working days. This is how the system works when registering absence over a period that spans one or more weekends.


You cannot register vacation (paid or unpaid) yourself; in these cases, you should always contact our support to have it registered in your time card. You email support at: Konsult.support@framtiden.com  where you include the following information:

  • The day/period your absence/leave applies to
  • The type of absence (exempel: paid vacations)

Note: Do not forget to inform your contact person at the company and your personnel manager at Framtiden when you are absent.

Sick Leave and Medical Certificate: If you are on sick leave for more than 7 calendar days in your sick period, you need to send in a medical certificate for us to continue paying sick pay to you. If you are on sick leave for more than 14 calendar days in your sick period, Framtiden will make a sick report to the Social Insurance Agency. You send in your medical certificate through our website. Press “Log in” at the top right of the page and select “Submit Medical Certificate.” Enter the same email address that you have registered with us. Fill in your email address twice and press “Next.” Then upload your medical certificate and press “Submit.”

Parental Leave: Please write as a comment which child you are on parental leave for, to ensure it is correct for your vacation accrual. (The child you specify here is the child you are seeking compensation for from the Social Insurance Agency)
